Jane's Carousel, Looking towards the Brooklyn Bridge & Downtown Manhattan

Last night I went to take pictures for an Architectural blog - Domus. The subject was a 1920's restored carousel that has had its internals completely gutted, updated and re-wired, and all of the original fixtures, glass, lights and mirrors restored to their former glory. It's situated right in the Brooklyn Bridge Park, a beautiful new space between the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridge's. If you're in the area I suggest checking it out. The carousel is stunning, the setting is beautiful and peaceful, they have done an amazing job with the entire site, and the picture opportunities are brilliant. Click the image to go to my Flickr album and see for yourself.
